What Is an SPC Wall Panel

The SPC core, brought from the floor to the wall

An SPC wall panel is interior wall cladding built on the same Stone Plastic Composite core that MILAT uses in its flooring: a rigid sheet made mainly from limestone powder, polymer and stabilisers. The mineral core does not absorb water, which is why SPC panels are specified where plaster, MDF and laminated boards fail — bathrooms, shower surrounds, kitchens and other wet or humid rooms.

Because the core is rigid and dimensionally stable, the panel stays flat and keeps its joints tight through temperature and humidity swings. It is fitted over a sound, flat wall without wet trades, so a room can be clad and back in use far faster than with tiling or plastering.

MILAT Floor manufactures SPC wall panels in its own facility in Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — one manufacturer, one document file and one point of contact for the floor and the walls of a project. Product imagery, formats and the decor range are being published; full specifications are available on request today.

Key Features

Why an SPC core works on the wall

Does not absorb water

The mineral core cannot take up water, so the panel is at home in bathrooms, shower areas, kitchens and laundries.

Rigid and flat

A dense stone-polymer sheet stays flat over a sound wall and does not telegraph the substrate the way thin PVC sheet does.

Dimensionally stable

Minimal movement with heat and humidity keeps joints closed in steamy rooms and sunlit interiors.

Dry, fast installation

No plaster, no tile adhesive, no grout to cure — the wall is clad and usable in a fraction of the time.

Easy to keep clean

A closed, non-porous surface with no grout lines wipes clean and does not harbour mould.

One manufacturer, floor and wall

Source wall panels and SPC flooring from the same Gaziantep factory, with one specification file and one shipment.

FAQ

SPC Wall Panels — frequently asked questions

What is an SPC wall panel?+

An interior wall cladding panel built on a Stone Plastic Composite core — a rigid sheet of limestone powder, polymer and stabilisers. The core does not absorb water, so the panel suits bathrooms, kitchens and other wet or humid rooms.

Are SPC wall panels waterproof?+

The SPC core does not absorb water, which is what makes the panel suitable for shower areas, bathrooms and kitchens. Joints and perimeters are finished according to the installation guidance so the wall behind stays dry.

Can SPC wall panels be used in a bathroom or shower?+

Yes — wet rooms are the main use. The panel's mineral core does not swell or delaminate the way MDF or laminated boards can.

How are SPC wall panels installed?+

Over a sound, flat wall, without plaster, tile adhesive or grout. The exact fixing method for MILAT panels is specified with the product's installation guidance.

What sizes and designs are available?+

Formats, thicknesses and the decor range are confirmed per project. Product imagery is being prepared; request the specification sheet and we will send the current range.

Can I order SPC wall panels wholesale or under my own brand?+

Yes. MILAT manufactures wall panels for wholesale supply and OEM / private-label programmes, with worldwide export from Türkiye.

Can I match the wall panels to MILAT SPC flooring?+

Floor and wall come from the same Gaziantep factory, so a project can be sourced from one manufacturer with one document file. Ask for the current decor range to plan a coordinated scheme.

Where are MILAT SPC wall panels manufactured?+

At MILAT Floor's own facility in Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep, Türkiye.
