The product range you resell
Every floor pairs a 100% waterproof SPC core with an Embossed In Register (EIR) surface, an AC5 wear rating, an IXPE acoustic layer (up to 21 dB) and a licensed Unilin click system. The Triollo EIR collection is engineered for heavy commercial traffic, while Exclusive EIR and Perfecta EIR cover residential and mixed-use projects.
Certifications for resale confidence
Wholesale partners resell floors backed by FloorScore® (indoor air quality), CE Declarations of Performance (EU 305/2011) and five ISO management-system standards — the assurance distributors and specifiers look for.
Becoming a distribution partner
Bulk pricing, minimum quantities and shipping terms are confirmed per partnership and destination. Contact the MILAT sales team to discuss distribution, dealer or contractor supply for your market.

Planning your first container
The first order sets the tone for the whole relationship, so plan it as a range, not a shopping list. Most successful partners anchor the load around a small group of proven neutral oaks, add a few mid-tone designs for broader taste, and reserve a modest share for one or two statement colours that make the display stand out. Mixing designs within a container is normal practice for a manufacturer; the discipline is in choosing few enough designs that each one arrives in saleable depth.
Stock depth beats design breadth
New wholesalers often stock twenty designs thinly and run out of the three that actually sell. Established ones stock eight designs deeply and reorder on a rhythm. Deep stock means a contractor can start a full project from your warehouse this week, which is the entire reason they buy from a local distributor instead of importing themselves. MILAT's 54 designs across the Exclusive EIR, Perfecta EIR and Triollo EIR collections exist so partners can curate, not so anyone carries everything.
- Anchor designs: the neutral oaks that appear in every market, stocked deepest
- Rotation designs: seasonal or regional tastes, reviewed at each reorder
- Statement designs: low volume, high display value, ordered to sell through
- Sample stock: boards and folders counted as inventory, not an afterthought
Merchandising and sample support
Floors sell by touch. A partner with proper display boards, hand samples and a folder that explains the wear layer and click system will outsell one with a price list every time. As a manufacturer we can supply cut samples, display material and the technical documentation behind each design, including the FloorScore certificate and CE Declarations of Performance that commercial specifiers ask to see. Build the sample story before the first container lands, not after. Replace tired display boards without being asked; a scuffed sample sells against you every day it stays on the rack, and customers judge the product by the most worn thing they can touch.
Shipping and documentation, handled properly
Bulk flooring moves on pallets in sealed containers, and the paperwork matters as much as the strapping. Expect a complete document set: commercial invoice, packing list with batch numbers, bill of lading and the relevant certificates. Batch numbers on the packing list are the detail experienced buyers check first, because they are what let you keep batches together across a warehouse and answer a customer query two years later. A supplier who is casual about documents will be casual about the goods.
Growing from dealer to distributor
The path most partners follow is simple: prove sell-through as a dealer, then earn wider territory and better terms as volumes stabilise. What a manufacturer looks for is not the size of the first order but the pattern of reorders, the quality of market feedback and whether the partner protects the product's positioning. Bring us sales data and honest complaints; both are worth more than a big opening number.
A word on pace: expanding territory faster than your stock depth can support is the classic wholesale mistake. Every new area you open expects the same availability your first customers enjoyed, and a stock-out in a fresh territory does more damage than never entering it. Grow the warehouse first, then the map. Manufacturers notice partners who sequence it that way, because their reorders arrive like clockwork instead of in panicked bursts, and clockwork is what earns a partner priority when production schedules get tight.
